The Secret to Beating the 2009 Patriots

Through careful observation I have discovered the secret to beating the 2009 New England Patriots: having former Purdue players on your roster. I'm sure GM's from across the NFL will be using up my phone minutes begging for my opinion on which of the current graduating Purdue football class they should take as first-round talent, but seriously, look at the Patriot's record: 7-5. Those 5 losses have come at the hands of the Jets, Broncos, Colts, Saints, and Dolphins. Each have at least one former Purdue player on the roster:
Jets - TE Dustin Keller
Broncos - QB Kyle Orton, T Brandon Gorin
Saints - QB Drew Brees
Colts - QB Curtis Painter (backup)
Dolphins - DT Ryan Baker, RB Kory Sheets, LB Akin Ayodele

One might think that having Matt Light at tackle would help the Patriots, but he clearly needs to step up his game if he doesn't want to really hear it the next time he's back on campus with other former players.
